Premier Tour Itinerary
 

  • Day 1
    Saturday: Depart USA for Dublin, Ireland.

     

  • Day 2

    Sunday: Arrive at Dublin Airport where you will be met by your Unique Ireland Tour Driver/Guide. On boarding our luxury coach we will take a short drive to your City center 3 star hotel. We will endeavor to get you an early check-in, but you can leave your luggage at the hotel while you explore Dublin. Day at leisure.

    Overnight: 3 star hotel, Dublin.
     

  • Day 3

    Monday: Following breakfast we will depart on our Dublin City Tour. This morning's tour will take in the highlights of Ireland's Capital City. The City which is over one thousand years old has a powerful history, exquisite buildings and pristine Georgian Squares. Our first visit will be to the famous Trinity College where we will have an opportunity to view the priceless Book of Kells and The Long Room Library. From Trinity we will continue to St. Patrick's Cathedral, which is Ireland's oldest church site, dating back to the 5th Century. The afternoon is free for personal sightseeing or just relaxing.

  • Day 4

    Tuesday: Today after a leisurely breakfast we will check out of our hotel and depart for the scenic West of Ireland. Our journey to Galway will include a visit to the important Monastic Site at Clonmacnoise founded by St. Ciaran in the 6th century. The monastery is located on the banks of the River Shannon, Ireland's longest and most famous river. Arriving in Galway we will check in to our hotel, which will be centrally located. Leisure time in Galway City.

  • Day 5

    Wednesday: Our journey today will take us to one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland, a place called Connemara. During the day we will visit the Connemara Marble factory, where you will hear the history of this famous green marble. We will have a visit at the impressive Kylemore Abbey along with some free time in the pretty town of Clifden. The highlight of the day will be a unique visit to a Connemara Bogland farm and the opportunity to chat with the farmer and to hear his fascinating family history. On our return to Galway the evening is free to explore the many pubs in the city or perhaps a visit to the theatre.

  • Day 6

    Thursday: Today can be a complete leisure day in Galway, but should you wish to visit the Aran Islands your coach will be available to bring you in the morning and return you back in the evening from the Aran Islands ferry.

    Ferry costs are not included, (approx 25 Euro).

  • Day 7

    Friday: Following breakfast and checkout we will travel to the stunning Cliffs of Moher in nearby Co. Clare. Our route will take us through the famous area known as The Burren. The landscape is almost entirely comprised of Limestone rock but is also a haven for rare plants, flowers and butterflies. The Cliffs of Moher rise to a height of over 700 feet above sea level. After some free time for lunch we will travel to Killimer where we will board a ferry, which will take us across the Shannon Estuary where the river Shannon joins the Atlantic Ocean. Arriving in the little village of Tarbert we will begin our journey through one of the most amazing Counties in Ireland, County Kerry often referred to as The Kingdom. We will travel through the famous literary town of Listowel and the town of Tralee made famous by the song "The Rose of Tralee". On arrival in Ireland's most famous town, Killarney we will check in to The Killarney Plaza Hotel. This evening we will dine together at the Hotel.

  • Day 8

    Saturday: Having enjoyed breakfast we will be collected from our Hotel by Jaunting Cart ( Horse & Buggy ) driven by one of Killarney's famous Jarvey's. We will take a trip through the National Park arriving at Muckross House & Garden's where we will have a guided tour of this magnificent mansion where Queen Victoria once stayed. This will be followed by some free time to explore the wonderful gardens. The remainder of the afternoon is free to explore Killarney.

  • Day 9

    Sunday: Today we will tour the Ring of Kerry. This scenic route along the south west coast of Kerry is one of the most famous scenic routes in the world. We will visit The Kerry Bog Village, watch a Kerry Sheep Farmer at work with his Sheep Dogs and visit Caher Gheal Ring Fort believed to be over 1,000 years old, after which we will continue our journey through the mountains visiting Sneem, Molls Gap and Ladies View eventually returning to Killarney in the late afternoon. Evening at leisure.

  • Day 10

    Monday: Following breakfast and check out we will depart Killarney and begin our journey to the historic city of Kilkenny. Our first stop will be in the famous village of Blarney where you will have an opportunity to Kiss the Blarney Stone and receive the gift of the Gab (eloquence). We will also have some time to visit Blarney Woolen Mills shopping complex, a shopper's paradise!! In the afternoon we travel to the city of Waterford home to The Waterford Crystal factory. We will tour the factory and get to meet some of the talented people who work here as well as seeing the entire crystal making process. After our visit we will continue to Kilkenny.

  • Day 11

    Tuesday: After breakfast we will depart the Hotel for a short drive in to the centre of the Medieval City of Kilkenny. Our first visit will be to Kilkenny Castle, a magnificent Norman Castle, which was once home to the Butler family and is now owned by the Irish Government. We will have a guided tour of the Castle. Visit the Black Abbey and St Canices Cathedral. The remainder of the day is at leisure in Kilkenny City.

  • Day 12

    Wednesday: Following breakfast and check out we will depart for Dublin taking in a visit to The National Stud Farm and Japanese Gardens in nearby Co. Kildare. This Stud farm plays an integral role in Ireland's Horse Breeding Industry. We will have a guided tour of the Stud Farm and also have an opportunity to visit St. Fiachara's Garden and The Japanese Gardens considered to be one of the best in Europe. We will then continue to Dublin City Centre for some free time for last minute sight seeing or shopping. Later this afternoon we will check in to Clontarf Castle Hotel for our final night together. This authentic Castle stands in the area of the famous Battle of Clontarf where the Irish Chieftains defeated the Vikings in the year 1014. Tonight we will enjoy a 'Farewell Dinner' at the Castle.

  • Day 13

    Thursday: Today your Unique Ireland Tour Driver/Guide will be on hand to bring you to Dublin Airport and assist you with check in for your return flight.
